Hello, and welcome to the website featuring my photography. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and browse through the galleries containing some of the favorite shots I’ve taken. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting them!
A little about me. My name is Angela Hoffman. I'm originally from Minnesota and currently located in Santa Cruz, CA. I’ve enjoyed taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I’m mainly a self-taught photographer. My main interests when it comes to photography are landscapes, nature and travel. One of my favorite subjects is moving water and I enjoy using long exposures to show a sense of movement and passage of time in my photography.
In addition to photography, I love to travel. I especially enjoy road trips. There is just something I find enjoyable and therapeutic about loading up my photography equipment, hitting the road and enjoying whatever sights there are to see along the way (most of the time with music on and signing at the top of my lungs).
The Lake Superior area as well as the Pacific Northwest are my favorite places to photograph and travel to. I was fortunate to grow up in an area only five hours away from Lake Superior and have parents that took us to that area to vacation there when I was younger, so it holds a special place in my heart. As for the the Pacific Northwest, it reminds me of the Lake Superior area which I'm guessing contributes to it being a favorite place to visit as well.
